En - This brand-new quartet, led by the very young New York-based rising saxophone star, Simon Comte, is an explosive cocktail of some of the leading names of today's young Brussels jazz scene... The repertoire, mainly based on Simon's compositions but also including a few original arrangements, gives pride of place to the dialogue between the musicians. Jazz bathed in colors that are sometimes impressionistic, sometimes post-bop, sometimes pop... The quartet recorded a 4-track studio demo at the end of August 2023 and Simon is currently working on his 'debut' album! Simon Comte is the 2023 winner of the prestigious Belgian American Educational Foundation scholarship, and has just received an invitation from the world-renowned, Grammy-winning WDR Big Band in Cologne, Germany, to perform with them as a soloist in early 2025! Simon Comte's New York debut caused a sensation and at the age of 18 he has already established himself as one of the leading tenor saxophonists of the new generation!

Fr - Ce tout nouveau quartet, emmené par Simon Comte, jeune étoile montante du saxophone, basé à New York, est un cocktail détonant composé de pointures de la jeune scène jazz bruxelloise actuelle… Le répertoire, essentiellement basé sur les compositions de Simon mais également sur quelques arrangements originaux, donne une place importante au dialogue entre les musiciens. Un jazz baigné de couleurs tantôt impressionnistes, tantôt post bop, tantôt pop… Le quartet a enregistré fin août 2023 une demo studio de 4 titres et Simon est en pleine préparation de son « Debut » album! Simon Comte est le Lauréat 2023 de la prestigieuse bourse de la Belgian American Educational Foundation et vient tout juste de recevoir l’invitation du célèbre « WDR Big Band » de Cologne, acclamé dans le monde entier et gagnant de plusieurs Grammy Awards, pour se produire en soliste avec lui au début de l’année 2025! Ses débuts à New York sont très remarqués et Simon Comte se positionne déjà, à seulement 18 ans, comme un des saxophonistes ténor incontournables de la nouvelle génération!
